ConfiCasa Riviera Maya is a franchise division of ConfiCasa International, a Houston-based cross-border mortgage provider. ConfiCasa Riviera Maya has a U.S. office in Texas and a Riviera Maya office in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. ConfiCasa Riviera Maya specializes in mortgages and loans for both U.S. and Mexican citizens.
Brian Murphy
Brian Murphy, President - ConfiCasa Riviera Maya
Brian Murphy was born in Farmingdale, Long Island, New York. He received a four year degree in International Travel Business from the Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. For eight years following graduation, Brian worked in a variety of travel related businesses in the United States. He then moved back to New York where he spent four years in Manhattan employed as a Wall Street stock broker. He returned to the travel business for the next six years. As director of Business Group Sales for an international Greek cruise line, Brian saw the world and fell in love with Mexico. He met Amelia Calderon in Cancun, MX and they married in 1996. They subsequently relocated to Houston, Texas and established a real estate business serving the Mexican market in Texas. In 2003, Brian and Amelia returned to Cancun to open a franchise office offering cross border mortgage loans from ConfiCasa. Brian continues to travel extensively between Mexico and the United States, maintaining the domestic and cross border offices for ConfiCasa.
